beatstreet - history 

Am 11.11.1994 gründete Hannes Ladinig (A) git. mit Stefan Lukasser  (A) key   "The Beatstreet Band". Die 8-köpfige Formation mit einheimischen Musikern   erreichte in kurzer Zeit beachtliche  Erfolge im In- und Ausland.

In dieser Zeit wurden zwei CD-Produktionen veröffentlicht. Die erste "Timelapse" (1996) als Vermächtnis an den tödlich verunglückten Keyboarder und Gründungsmitglied Stefan Lukasser. Die zweite 1999 veröffentlichte CD-Produktion trug den Namen "EverywhereYougo" 
mit den ersten Eigenkopmositionen.

Im Herbst 2000 trennten sich die Wege, die Band wurde umstrukturiert und hieß fortan beatstreet. 

Seither begann die  Zusammenarbeit   mit internationalen Vocals wie Tyrone Davis aus NYC, Carmen Brown (USA), Rana Fellgraff  (USA),  Shelia Michellè  (USA)............

...................................seit Ende 2002 nun mit
Top-Leadvocal  Hubert Tubbs (L.A. - Ex-Leadvocal of "TOWER OF POWER") gemeinsam mit 
Jeni Williams (USA)   und optional mit professionellen Tänzern und Sängern wie Jason Jones (GB) und Cedric Lee Bradley(USA).
beatstreet ist national wie international  erfolgreich.
Die 3. CD-production - beatstreet LIVE ist seit April 2002 auf dem Markt und die erste Auflage ausverkauft.

beatstreet ist ......"der Sound der Band"  - 
der in  diesen letzten Jahren von einer  Reihe  internationaler  und nationaler Top- Musiker präsentiert wurde und zum derzeitigen Erfolg geführt hat.

Ende Sept.2006  beginnen die Studioaufnahmen für
unser nächstes Album.......

"The Beatstreet Band"  was founded on the 11. of Nov. 1994 by Hannes Ladinig (A) git. and Stefan Lukasser  (A) key.
The formation with 8 Austrian musicians  has been successful soon in Austria and abroad.

In this period of time 2 cd-productions came on the market. The first has been "Timelapse" (1996) as a legacy to the keyboarder Stefan Lukasser who died of a traffic accident. The 2nd  CD on the market was titled "EverywhereYougo". On this CD we brought out the first originals from beatstreet.

In autumn 2000 some of the members went their different ways - the band was  restructured and the name was shortened to beatstreet.

At this time we started the first project with
international top-leadvocals & musicians
Tyrone Davis (USA), Shelia Michellè (USA),
Carmen Brown (USA) , Rana Fellgraff (USA).....................................

........................since the end of 2002 with Ledavocal Hubert Tubbs  (L.A. - Ex-Leadvocal of Tower of Power) together with Jeni Williams (USA) and  optional with  professionall dancers and singers Jason Jones (GB) or Cedric Lee Bradley (USA).  beatstreet has reached a new level of success. The 3rd CD production - beatstreet Live is on the market since April 2002 and sold.

One of the interesting elements of beatstreet is the evolution of band personnel. beatstreet is, in effect, the sound of the band. Through the years, a variety of  fine musicians have been keepers of that sound. 

At the end of Sept. 2006 we'll start working in the
studio for our next album.....
